How does your service work?
Booking a service is simple. Contact me via phone, email, through the website, or on my Facebook page to schedule an initial appointment. I will then arrange a home visit at your convenience. During the first appointment, I will gather information about your medical history and discuss your specific needs. Typically, clients are seen every 6 weeks to maintain optimal foot health, but services can be customised to suit your requirements.
Do I need a doctor's referral to book an appointment?
No referral is needed! You can book directly with me as needed.
What are your qualifications?
I hold a Foot Health Diploma (MCFHP, MAFHP) and am a member of the British Association of Foot Health Professionals. My qualifications include certification in Clinical Medical Emergency Procedures, current First Aid training, professional indemnity insurance, a DBS check, and ongoing CPD to ensure up-to-date knowledge. I am happy to provide proof of my credentials upon request.
What areas do you cover?
I offer mobile foot health services in Silchester, Reading, and the surrounding areas within a 10-mile radius, including Basingstoke, Tadley, Mortimer, Burghfield Common, Bramley, and more. Availability may vary based on other appointments, so please contact me to confirm if I can visit your specific location. I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
No special preparation is needed, but ensuring a comfortable, well-lit area with enough space for my equipment will help. Wear loose-fitting clothing to allow easy access to your feet and lower legs, and have a towel handy to dry your feet if necessary. If you have specific concerns or symptoms, note them down to discuss during the visit. My goal is to make your appointment as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
How long do appointments usually take?
Appointments generally last between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the treatments required. The fee is per visit, not based on time, allowing me to provide thorough care without rushing. Regular visits help maintain foot health and address issues early.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payment by cheque or cash at the appointment. Bank transfers are also an option if completed during the visit. My aim is to make the payment process as convenient as possible for you.
Can I book an appointment for someone else?
Yes, you can book an appointment for a family member, friend, or anyone you care for. Provide the necessary details and ensure the person is available at the scheduled time. I’m happy to work with you to arrange a visit that meets everyone’s needs.
